Get out and dance
By Shay Quillen Mercury
News
For those who say there's nothing to
do in San Jose, I say, ``Quit yer bellyachin'.''
The good people at Pacific Art Collective
are putting on an entire day of music, dance and visual
art today at the Barbarella boutique in Willow Glen,
till 9 tonight.
You'll have Bay Area rock bands and
DJs playing while painters and sculptors create art,
as well as free massages, a free buffet, CDs and paintings
and vintage clothes to buy, a book exchange, and even
a raffle.
PAC founder William Rowan has big plans
for the collective, including taking troupes of South
Bay artists on the road to the great cities of the
world. In the meantime, he plans to put on events
every couple of weeks in San Jose. Keep an eye on
the PAC Web site for details.
